About Us
Founded in 2015, Community Advocate Resource, Inc. (CAR) started as part of a Faith-Based Organization helping low-income female members of the congregation with resources and providing intervention programs for youth, seniors and families in distress. "Community Advocate Resource, Inc was created to help fill systematic voids which currently plague so many youth, seniors, and families to poverty, and leave them with a lack of equitable resources. As of 2021, CAR has transitioned from an entity within the Faith-Based Organization to an incorporated 501c3 that can aid all citizens in the community regardless of race, color, national origin, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, gender identity or transgender status), age, disability, genetic information, marital status, political affiliation, and status as a parent. CAR has over 20 years of direct staff experience in facilitating community advocacy programs and administering grants.
Act as if what you do makes a difference... it does.
